INTRODUCTION
The process involved in creating a unique name and image a consumers' mind, mainly through advertising campaigns with a consistent theme. Your name, logo, fonts, and colors are the visual language of your team. This means your branding guide needs to reflect that. Make sure you are establishing a set of colors that you want to see on every aspect of your brand: one that reflects your values, your journey, and your team as a whole.
COLOR PALETTE
The predominate color in all communications materials should be selected from the primary palette. Long body text should alway sbe displayed in primary back on primary white background. Accent text and graphics may be displayed in any of the primary colors. In presentation mediums, the colors from the presentation palette may be used for the background design elements, to shift the viewer's eyes to the content.
STANDARDS
Make sure you are identifying guidelines that will be accessible on all/most designing platforms that your team is using. For example, when choosing logos: make sure you identify a "go-to" image for your team, what acceptable changes can be made to this image for more logo variation?
TITLES + FONT
In terms of identifying different titles and naming standards for your team, figure out what you want to be referred to as. This is especally important when establishing team identity. For fonts, it is important to keep consistent in all team documentation based on the font you choose to use. Once again, make sure this font is found on most editing platforms or commonly downloaded for the entire team to use. This is especially helpful for banners, apparel, and other promotional goods.
